Most common problem is fading display. It seems easy enough to repair. Mine was a 30mins solder job, just search the forums for details on what needs soldering.

Yes it is the display. I have read that some of the displays just go dim, but the one in my 01 vette has completely gone out. The chevrolet dealership wants about $300 for a new one. That sounds too expensive, but what do I know.

From: Calgary, AB. There's a reason why white was the only color offered on every year Corvette. Proud Canadian German Jamaican!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Corvette ownership. Do a search and find the one that shows you which points to resolder.

Check out #24 it may help. Good Luck.

Default E-bay

There is a guy at e-bay that will fix it for under $50. I read about him here in Corvette forum. Great service and a very quick turn around.

I opened mine up and decided it was worth the money to have someone else fix it. My screen was dead, but a/c, heat all worked.

My display doesn't work at all.

I just remember (push mode three times to get to high and low).

I need a sauder'er'er to fix it.
