Default Rear Clunk Sound

Looking for any thoughts on typically when the 2004 Coupe non Z06 is cold once in a while there is a clunk sound coming from the rear area. Dealers cant find anything. Any TSB on something like that or maybe something loose other than a shock? Thanks

Default Additional Info for the thump issue

The right rear has a thump and usually does it when it sits like at first start up and happens when shifting between 2,3,4 gears up or down. Not sure could it be a driveshaft issue, rear end issue or what. I'm helping a lady who ownes the Vette. This is additional info from the post above.

On my 04 Coupe, I had more of a rubbing/grinding sound in the rear. Took it in and it was diagnosed as the differential fluid level. It turns out that the factory fill was a little short and or it needed more friction modifiers. There's a TSB on it but I don't recall the number. All taken care of...

if it's a popping noise when adding or reducing power take a look here:

it's a very common problem and an easy fix... good luck!
