Default Tenn. Drivers Beware !!!!

Be carefull this Thanksgiving Holiday on I-40,the TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL just announced on the news( 6:00 pm in Memphis) that they would have their cars spread out every 10 miles looking for speeders during the Thanksgiving Holidays !!!!! Have a safe and Happy Holiday !!

Yeah, the Clinton News Network was blathering about that today around noon time.

BTW, the Okies are doing this too and maybe some of the other states that I40 runs through.

I saw that to. Good thing I'm not a speeder............in the vette. Suppose to be a beautiful Thanksgiving day to. Me and my wife will still have a nice ride tomorrow.

Same thing through the Texas panhandle. Talked with a friend in Flagstaff today and it was stated on local radio and Phoenix TV stations, too. They said every 10 to 12 miles.

It's actually supposed to stretch all the way across the country. One cop every 10 miles.

Nice to know these things in advance, although I will be doing our travels in the BMW since it will be the wife my daughter and I going to visit family for the Thanksgiving Day events.

Too bad this kind of thing cannot be used every day on every major highway...Maybe it would cut down on some of this highway madness we all see on our roads. Probably don't have enuf LEOs to do it effectively...Anyhow, Happy Holidays and drive careful out there...

The news said that all the states will be doing that across the country from CA to NC so what yourselves..

They must have missed me...at 5:30 am on the way to work this morning there was NOBODY on the road. Good thing I was doing the limit........that it would go in 4th.

heard that on the Knoxville TV stations too .
Did not see any out yesterday although and I drove to both Sevierville north and Athens south
Traffic was very bad , you would think they would have started yesterday .

I never will believe this is the answer to the problems on our roads. Inadequate trainging and experience and just plain stupidity are the problems. Throwing more laws and more cops at it will not solve anything. It has to start with the PRIVILEDGE of driveing a motor vehicle.
