Default Removing Run Flats.

Hate "em: Can I order regular tires and install on a run flat rim or whats the low-down. Anyone want to trade 4 runflat polished rims for 4 without the sensors? Anyway any and all help is appreciated.
Blue Skies,
Tim

The rims don't have anything to do with runflats. You can put non runflat tires on and keep the sensors. That way you still have access to the pressures on the DIC.

I have Michelin Pilot Sport AS ZP (runflats). They're completely different from the OEM tires in ride, handling and noise.

Don't totally discount them just on the basis of the stock tires.

You can put either runflats or non-runflats on your rims - doesn't matter which. There are some runflats out there though that do ride better than the Goodyears - I like my Firestone Firehawks.
