I just went to the Goodyear site and they advertise the EMT at a 50 mile range at 50mph max.
Michelin site advertises ZP at 50 mile range at 55mph max.
From my understanding, Goodyears can run for up to 200 miles but if you want to repair them, keep it to under 50 miles.
I thought I had heard 200 miles somewhere before, but what you say makes since. If you are stuck out in the middle of nowhere (like me), it may pay to keep a small compressor in the car just in case it is a slower leak - that way I could make it to the nearest civilized area up to 120 miles or more away by refilling the tire along the way if I am lucky.

The older style Goodyears (on the C5's) were rated at 200 mile range at 55 mph. The ones on the C6 I believe have been rated at 100 mile range. Could be wrong there though.
"If you drive on a deflated EMT for 50 miles (80 km) or less and at speeds of 55 mph (90 km/h) or less, there is a good chance that the tire can be repaired. The tire can operate effectively with no air pressure for up to 200 miles (320 km) at speeds up to 55 mph (90 km/h), but the tire would then have to be replaced."

I have read this as well. The range is shorter on the C6 runflats, I also read that the Goodyear new runflats weight less

Neither can the Firestone run flats. I have a set on mine and last week had a screw in the left rear. Went to tire store and they put on a new tire for $100.
I took a nail out of my car and drove 15 miles and could not tell there was no air in the tire. 50 miles should be no problem.
I agree with that. but disagree with the fact that Michelin run flats cannot be repaired. I got a flat on one and run about two miles to the shop and they patched it, it has been a year with no trouble yet.
