Anyone using AAFES gas?
I've been using it for about 4 months now and no complaints, really. Anybody with a bad experience with it, or any good intel on it?

I use it every now and then with no ill effects...only have regular available here though, they're redoing the service station.

I stopped using it because it was causing a severe spark knock (sounded like a diesel) in my wife's mustang, which is supposed to use 87 octane. I haven't had a problem using it with my truck, which has a Edge tuner. But to be safe, from now on I will only use name brand fuels in all my vehicles, especially the vette.

I stopped using AAFES gas after my car back fired and shut off on me twice. Plus the Military always goes with the lowest bidding contract which means you're getting what you pay for. Been filling up at am/pm ever since and haven't had any more problems.

I've used it in my cars when I've been on a military base for either business or shopping. Never had any problems with their gas.

I was stuck with their pricing scams overseas for the last 3 years, they won't see another dime from me.

I will admit that we paid $3.85 (2 years ago) for a name brand pack of cigarettes in Korea, while back home (Texas) you could find them for $2.95 in gas stations..

Used it for 3+ years at Nellis with no ill effects. It was about the same price as Costco which was my other option.
Had a temperamental gas gauge briefly (slow to register full; slowly crept up from 3/4). 2 bottles of Techron fixed it.
No problems here.
