Smoke from the filler cap is probably not a problem when the vehicle is hot. Condensation on the dip stick could be as simple as it's not making a good seal when inserted - or as major as a failing head gasket.

Default condensation

Usuall found this time of year, on dipstick, under filler cap, from short trips, the engine dosen't get up to temp long enough to evaporate it, take it on a good ride, when you can....

Keep a very close eye on your coolant level for a while. Unless it is condensation, you would loose coolant if you have a bad head gasket or a crack somewhere. It is most likely condensation though. You would be very surprised by how much condensation you can get in any motor. You could also have a problem with the pcv system. This system is meant to get any blow-by or condensation out of the crankcase and into the cylinders, then out through the exhaust. Unless you see coolant loss, I would not worry.

I would change or have my oil & filter changed & see what happends. You may need a system flush & while your at It If you haven't changed the other fluids In a while, you should have the entire system flushed and refilled. Not sure If that's the problem but It's good to do anyway.
I'm sure It's nothing major. Best of luck

I don't know the details because I had It done, I didn't do It myself. All I know Is they were using this machine to force the oil out & Into the oil pan. Your required to have this done If your using synthetic and decide to use regular motor oil & vice versa. I had mine done at Jiffy Lube for $70.00 + tax. I would ask them about It.
