[Z06] new bullets

new bullets
Well I have finally started mods on my 02Z. I put B&B bullets on this past weekend and these are my impressions.Normal driving going thru the gears, there is a loud drone bet 2 and 3 thousand rpm ,after that its not bad.Steady driving at 65 is not to bad but might be on a long trip.I am not complaining because now it sounds like a corvette should and I turn the radio up anyway.I am giving myself a christmas present and going to LG and have headers ,cats and a tune. I have the same exhaust on my 01 Z06, love it around town. Long trips I will take my 1992 accord or put stock pipes on it. I took a 1000 mile round trip last summer in the Z06 and I had a killer headache after about 1-2 hours. I agree it sounds like a vette now.

My 99 had stock exhaust with Bullets and it was loud but tollerable. My Z with the 402, Kooks headers, off road X and Bullets was unbearable. There was resonation at idle. I switched over to GHL Magnums (6" cans) and it's perfect.
