Curious, what do you need a spacer for?

I'm not sure but It's probably for airflow I would amagine. If thats the case your much better off with a ported throttle body.

TB spacers are not needed at all.

The only reason some race cars run TB spacers is they need TB restrictor plates. That is what those spacers are needed for.

Looks like VaraRam makes a Throttle body spacer for the C6. It is part # VR-TBS1 for the LS2 engine. Adds +5 rwhp and +10 ft lbsTorque

http://www.vararam.com/tbs1.html

How about their Velocity stack? Would that work synergistically with the TBS or is it more of an either/or mod?

Paperweights.

The only time I've ever seen spacers work even to the slightest degree is on a carbed engine. Save your money.

I read that they add some plentum volume to your intake manifold. Looks too minimal too me!

I thought the Tornado was a scam too. However the latest edition of Corvette Fever expressed the same sketicism and then tested it on a C2 and allegedly found better accelleration and a 3 mpg increase. The same article said the Tornadoes are all round and are not manufactured for the oval C5 intake. So what did you do Kevin?

I've got one on my Mustang TB. I did it not for the intake volume, but to give the airflow a little more room to straighten out. (the Mustang's intake plenum is a 90 degree elbow) I had installed a less restrictive upper intake on the car (which I smoothed and polished) and I noticed a marked difference. The Mustang is very fertile ground for induction improvements, the stock intake/exhaust is very restrictive. I won't bother with the Corvette, (perhaps, a bigger TB, if I did exhaust as well) unless I was doing a full MONTY, headers, and exhaust, the improvements in the TB would be indiscernable.
