98 C5 Sliding Seats--Big Problem
1998 C5 Targa/Coupe. 35K miles. Bought with 22K miles. For as long as I have owned the car, the driver seat and passenger seat will slide forward/backward under either heavy acceleration or braking--which ever the case may be.
This is incredibly annoying. I have heard this is a very common problem, and that the only fix is to have new seat rails installed and that even then, there is no promise that fix will hold.
For this kind of car, this seems entirely unacceptable.
Anyone with answers or suggestions, please do not hestitate to advise.
