One man's garbage is another man's treasure. You couldn't GIVE me another Hurst shifter. Been there, done that. Stock shifter, cut down 2", shorter throws than the Hurst without the vibration, noise or sore muscles when stuck in stop and go traffic. That plus the detent modification = smooth as silk shifts. "Miss a gear", uhhh.....NO!

Well then I guess it all comes down to what kind of driving you do. I've heard from a handful of vette owners that roadrace that they too would prefer to have something other than Hurst. As for me, I can live with the minor vibrations if it means I have a solid shifter with a GREAT 2nd-3rd shift. I also like that you can adjust the bias springs and blocks to suit your driving style (but I leave mine firm anyway! ) Thanks for the input.
So far my Billy Boat Bullits. They look and sound awesome, they really added a new dimension to the car. I can't believe I waited so long to buy a catback system.
However, I have many more mods on the horizon so it will be interesting if the Bullits remain my favorite.

Does my entire car count for appearance mods? Just sent her to the first garage yesterday for new Bullets and oil pressure sensor, then she will be going to the other garage for the ground effects, new LED BlackCherry Blackouts all around, new lettering front and rear, my blink blink kit, new wheels and tires (with new tire sensors all around to), new top, new emblems front and rear and new paint (I feel like I am forgetting something)...Does that count?
Ok--no pics of her finished or even during process yet (they will be getting started next week and I will have progress reports cause you guys rock on support...) but you can see her before pic below with my husbands 84 and I will actually get rid of the pic of me and my husband when I figure out how (that is in Cancun by the way---our honeymoon)..

I have two favorites - my VE interior and then my wheels/tires. These two things have really transformed my car.
Performance wise - I'm thinking about looking into the '80's Cadillac V8-6-4 engine......seems like "variable displacement" engines are back in style and I want to be on the "bleeding edge"!
Performance would have to the dynotune. it brought out all power for the other mods (headers, cam). Appearance is definately lowering. More to come in both categories.
