Trans Fluid Replacement Question
I'm not able to remove the fill plug/temp sensor from the trans. I wanted to ask those who've done this work how had can I wrench on that plug? I don't want to break anything. Looks as though there might be some thread sealer on it. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks. Bill

Hi Bill -
Yes, the sensor/plug does have some thread sealer or maybe red thread lock compound from the factory.
I just used the appropriate sized open end wrench to remove it.
It is a good sized plug, so it is not delicate.
Just put some muscle into it and it will come out.
