I doubt if you are nuts, but the difference is miniscule. You can't be drooling over the exterior/interior because the only noticeable difference is the 405 on the logo. It must be that additional 5% hp. :crazy:

Why not wait a bit longer...rumor has it that the '03 Z06 will be pushing 450HP :D
Heck...better yet...just replace your badges with the "405HP" ones...no one will notice the difference...Black is still an '02 color.

I dont think you are nuts. I would trade up to an 02 or an 03 (when they come out) if I had the means ($$$$). But I dont so I am happy with my 01 :D

Every time I read the articles, I want to get an 02. But then I realize that's what the articles are trying to do. Boiled down,I can get the 20+ HP and other changes for my 01 by making much less costly changes and hold out for the 03. If there is no real bump for 03, I'll wait until GM makes some significant changes. It's a question of value for the buck. Anyway the economy is to soft right now for reasonable trade-ins etc. I wonder what people who traded their 01s for 02s are going to do if GM only bumps the HP 15-20 for 03? That would mean about 40 HP to me but only 15-20 for them. I can't be bothered for only 15-20 HP each year. But if you are loaded, why not? :cheers:
