Need help finding a radar detector
ok guy let me know what you have and what you think the best one is out there is i know the v1 is great but is there any other makes that compare to it like the escorts. AND DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF THEY SELL THE V1 IN A RETAIL STORE. Or do i have to get it from valentine. Oh and why are the valentine prices $100 buck cheaper than all the other online shops.

I have the Escort Solo 2
It beeps....
After a year of the Escort, I bought the detector that I should have bought the first time. The V1.
The arrows are key to this radar detector. One gets tired of just beeps and tends to ignore them. Within this price range the V1 kills the Escort

Valentine does not use retail stores, the only "official" place to get one is from Valentine @ https://store.valentine1.com/store/ $399
I Have used Escort products since the original Escort. But after my recent experiences with my 8500.......I feel their quality has dropped and their customer service sucks.
Next time I will buy Valentine

just ordered mine today from valentine.com 20015 v1 radar locator w/ lazer warning $399. 20110 concealed display w/band indentifcation $39. ups 2 day shipping $14. grand total $452. cant wait to install it. ive tried to find one better and never have. they wont work on it or update it unless you have the orig. reciept showing you as purchaser. i bought one at a swap meet on time and it had a burned out direction aarow light and i tried to send it in for repair and they told me they had a zero tolerance on changing their policy as far as transfer to another person of a unit. break down and dig up another c-note and get the best. my.02
