Key Fob Protector......
Works on 1997-2004 C5 Corvette Key FOBS
Introducing the Covette Key FOB "Jacket". A rubber Key FOB protector that is easy to use, protects your existing FOB, and adds little style to your FOB. (For use on all 01-04 C5's)
The FOB Jacket allows you to personalize your current remote. Prevent your remote from getting scratched, chipped, and prevent costly replacements. If you have a cracked, damaged, or a remote that had broken away from your key ring, the Jacket will allow you to reattach the remote to your keychain and protect it from further damage. The Jacket will also prevent you from accidental engagement of control functions while your remote is in your pocket or purse. We have also noticed that by adding color to the remote, it not only adds excitement to a boring remote, it personalizes and adds visibility to your keys.

I am not sure they will not work on the pre 2001 cars...I think the fob is the same style, just that the passive entry buttons are covered by the protector. If someone sends me a PM with their address that has a pre 2001 car, I will send them one for free (and to keep) to try and and let us know.

Whelp....that got the PM's going 
we have our test mule, "Barrier" was the first one to send the pm so as soon as he tells me what color I will ship it out.
His end of the bargain is that he either needs to post in this thread or send me an email to let me know if it works or not....
