My local tuner says that I can remove and install my engine with the torque tube and tranny in place. Is this right? It sure seemed like when I was removing it that the tranny had to move back. I just need some re-assurance before I slap my rear end back in. Thanks!

If you have the rear cradle off pull the torque tube and then do the engine for sure. You will not have to drop the front crossmember if the rest of the drivetrain is out.
Yeah I think I am leaving it all out. I have the rear on a roll around cart so I can move the car. I need to snap a few pics of everything and post them on here.
Oh and Jason I love my mats! I got them in yesterday, and I wasnt sure if I would like the neon trim but it turned out perfect. The quality of these mats are perfect! Thanks again!

I was worried about dropping it out the bottom due to the disconnection of the AC and all brake lines. It was fairly simple pulling it out the top. I have done a few clutches in the c5 so the tranny was no problem. After that it was all down hill.

you DO NOT disconnect the A/C or brake lines when dropping out the bottom
