Merry Christmas to Everyone,
The UPS man just delivered our calipers that we had powdercoated by Mike (Corvette Pilot). WOW what an excellent job. Within two weeks of leaving my doorstep I had them back in hand. I have read several posts by other members that have had Powdercoating done by Mike and how pleased they were. The calipers were for my wife's 03 Anniversry Red Convertible. Those of you whose wives own a Corvette know how pampered most of them are. Anyway not just ANYONE could paint THESE calipers. After we got them back we couldn't believe how fantastic of a job Mike did with them. Everything about the process was done in a very proffession manner. If you have ANY concerns about the type of work Mike does, rest assured he's one of the best if not THE best. Our are painted Anniversary Red and the letter were cleaned off and then several coats of clearcoat was applied. I am going to try to post some pictures and if anyone has any questions feel free to PM Again Mike thanks alot you did a GREAT JOB.
Sincerely,
Dave (shooter1951)[IMG][/IMG]

If you don't mind me asking...what did it run you??
Thinking of having mine done.
Mine were $230. We already have ours in the garage and covered for the winter so I just took them off and sent them out to Mike.
You need to check with him about the exchange program. He has that set up for guys (or gals) that are still driving their Vettes and don't want much down time. You get put on a list and Mike contacts you when he's ready to do yours. He then Powdercoats a set for you, sends them out and you send him your set on exchange. I believe the deposit is $200 or 230 and then you get that back when he receives your calipers. He is the best to work with and I'm sure if you decide to do yours you will be happy with the results.
