What is the RPO code for it?Whats the difference between it and a regular suspension? And I thought all '99 and '00 FRC 's had it?
RPO Code Z51.
Yes, the FRC's had the Z51 suspension and 6 speed manual standard.
Z51 includes stiffer springs, enhanced shock valving, larger diameter stabilizer bars and a power steering cooler. If ordered with an automatic the 3.15 performance ratio axle was a required option. Z51 was not available with the selectable ride suspension.

Haven't heard about bigger brakes before. Do you happen to have a link to this info? Thanks.
C6 Z51's came with larger brakes. C5's did not. And not all FRC's got the Z51 suspension. I dont remember the breakdown, but most 99's had it, less with the 2000's.
2000 and up z51 cars had the same front spring and rear sway bar as the Z06. swap the front sway and rear spring, shocks...and you're at Z06 suspension.

I was going by the Corvette Black Book which says all 99 and 00 FRC's came with Z51.
RPO is the abbreviation for regular package options. If you look in your glovebox you will see a list of all your car's RPO codes. If you do a search on this site, I think you will find out what all the RPO codes stand for.
For some more info about your car you might want to try this site.
The Z51 suspension is one step up from the stock suspension that came with the regular vettes, and the Z06 suspension is another step up from the Z06. If you want to make your car handle better switching over to the Z06 suspension will definitely help. I did this to my 01 Speedway White Coupe and the difference was quite apparent. You can probably find the needed parts in the c5 parts section. People are selling them all the time.

All 1999-2000 FRCs have the Z51 suspension(100% OF 1999). FE3 includes the Z51, Z19(100% of 2000) which is the Gymkhana/Autocross pkg., includes Z51 with mn6, and 3.42 R.E.
.
Other way around. The Z51 "Performance Handling Package" includes the FE3 "Sport" suspension.
Basically, the Z51 Package is the combination of the "Heavy Duty Suspension" and the "Power Steering Cooler".
When reviewing your RPO codes on your C5's RPO Code Sticker you will notice that when Z51 is Selected the RPO code of FE3 (HEAVY DUTY SUSPENSION) is also there. FE3 is the RPO Code the Factory Production line employees use when building the C5 with the Z51 Package. At the Factory all FE3 Compents are COLOR Coded with either WHITE TAGS or a White Colored Crayon Mark.Quote: C5Reg.
