UK Corvette
Here's that picture I promised. the Vert is soon to acquire Brit citizenship so I couldn't resist the chance to get out for a quick drive while it was still on Nevada plates.
Its a gray day here and even the local castle is closed for the Holiday.
Even so, I promised a picture and here it is
"The Old and the New"
Tattershall castle is our local landmark and the original buildings date back to 1231. The tower was built for Lord Cromwell, Oliver Cromwell's cousin, in 1434 I seem to remember

How many Vette "compadres" do you have around there? Where do you get the car serviced if it breaks? and anything else that occurs to you about vette ownership in the UK...

Only been home from Vegas a couple of months and the vette just arrived from the US
I've already hooked up with a couple of fellow owners and hopefully a road trip's on the books
The Corvette Club of UK is alive and well

I still have loads of contacts in the US who will get parts for me if I need them. There are only a couple of specialist dealers so major problems may be tricky. That said, there's always the wealth of knowledge here for routine stuff. I could become a PITA when things break
