I have a manual ragtop on the 2003. Is there a conversion module that will convert it from manual to a automatic top by the pressing of a button? I have done some research and can't find any info. Just curious.
Nope-besides it would take up a lot of room and cost $$$ to do. You "might" be able to hack one from the C6 but Corvettes have NEVER had electric tops till this current model so anything you would find would be a custom job anyway. I think the manual top is faster to put up/down anyway.

A Club Buddy of mine has a C-6 and does not like the power top it is slower to put up than a manual top and it takes up a lot of room in the trunk which is smaller than a C-5.

Well, I wouldn't say never but its been a while. From 1959 through 1962 a power operated soft top was available for $139.90. Very few were ordered but they're some out there.

Saves me from jumping in, but I believe it was from 1956 to 1962 and they sold in these numbers:
I do find it rather easy to put the top up or down. I was just curious if the conversion existed. Also, I wonder why Chevrolet hasn't done it on the newer cars until this year. Just interesting I guess...

I'm sure the reason why Chevrolet never bothered were weight savings, and to keep assembly costs down. I have a couple of friends with C6's and power tops - the power top is at least twice as slow asmy manual top.

There have been a few conversions posted over the last few years. All are expensive and take up a serious amount of trunk space. With the ease of putting the top up and down and the lack of things to go wrong, the manual system is just fine for me.
