speaker thump

speaker thump
the other day the speaker / speakers on the pass. side developed a thump! it sounds like a rotten tomato hitting the car. it took me a few min. to find what in the heck it was. I'm not positive if it is coming from both on the pass. side or just the door. can anyone suggest what I need to look for to repair this problem?

Might do better posting this in the audio section. if it were me I'd start with the obvious and remove the door panel and check the speaker itslef. Then process of elimination. Connect your other speaker and see if the same thing happens, if not, bad speaker. If yes, bad head unit possibly. Good Luck

I had a blown subwoofer for months... turned out I bought the car like that
