Which new system and why?
My husband bought me an iPod adapter for my stereo for Christmas. I need new door speakers cause I blew out my passenger side door so now my husband was thinking we would get a new system instead so--
What head unit would you get and why? My husband wants something that has excellent response with the iPod (he has been looking at the Alpine CDA9856) and my only requirement is that it is bluetooth compatible. So lets here them and be as specific as possible. Pics work to and any information you think might be helpful.
post in the audio section all the guru's are there. The Alpine is great for ipod but im pretty sure there is no bluetooth for it. The highend pioneer dominated on bluetooth
This my solution. Everything hides away nicely, iPod's in the glove box. The controls work just like the iPod. Excellent system... Harman Kardon Drive 'n Play. With the cup holder and ashtray covers closed, no one knows you have an iPod in the car.
I went with the AVIC N1 (latest model is the N3). Its a good all rounder and the price is competitive. It'll fit in the 1.5 DIN housing and gives audio, CD, DVD and navigation. It also uses the stock speakers with a soundgate adaptor.
But.....If you're looking for real audio performance there are probably better systems out there.
