Just getting a poll on the preference of some C5 owners here with regards to rims. I've seen some C5 with rims with both deep lips on the front and rear wheels while other set-up are almost lip-less in the front wheels and deep dish lips in the rear like some exotic cars I've seen, also seen them on BMW M5's and MB CL500 AMG. My Imola's are almost the same set up. The front wheels probably have maybe 1/2inch or less lip, while the rear wheels sports a 2 inch lip- not including the lip balm If you can post pics, that's be great as well.

My Imolas were about the same as yours - wide lip on the rear, smaller one on the front. I really like the looks of the CCW wheels in terms of the width of the lip in the front and rear.
It really depends on what brand wheel you go with, for example if you do iForged then go with the 2" front 4" rear or if your going with their older styles then go with a 1.5" front and 3" rear. Lip sizes are usually predetermined by the wheel company based off fender/brake clearance, unless your wide body...
i like deep lips....the only thing is on my past cars.....the deeper the wheel the smaller they look (ex: 20- looks like 19....).........but flush wheels look like u have 22s when there 20s.......and yes they do look wider..but not bigger....hope that helps
I spoke with John at CCW... I guess in my case, if I go with 325's on the back with 19x11.5's I get a 3" lip. As an alternate, 19x11" will have a 2" lip.
My guess is the lip is determined by the offset required to fit the rims/tires correctly. Somebody please feel free to elaborate!
Every rim looks great. It's looking more and more that I'll be keeping my IMOLA's. Couldn't sell them even though they're 25% off a new set and mine are new. So until I have money for new tires, they will be in storage and I'll try to sell them in the meantime. I like the CCW's thin spokes, like the split spokes as well but had experiences with split spokes before ( not CCW's though) and the space between the spokes are tough to clean. So I'll keep my Imola's until I sell them, then I'll get some CCW's. But I still like the small lip in the front and deep lips in the rear.
