Default Power seat problem

Drivers side power seat won't move backwards. The seat moves in all directions except back. Replaced switch and still can not get it to work. Switch and motor make a clicking sound but it won't move. Any suggestions. I can't drive it because I can't get in!

Default seat

get ready to spend $$$

BEST OF LUCK

once in a while the motor will free up once it's removed from the track, like try giving it a rap with a screw driver handle ... clicking usually means the switch is OK and your interior lights should dim slightly when the switch is pressed as well meaning power is going to the seat motor - but the motor may have a bad spot and you was just was unluckly enough to stop at the spot ... just a slight turn of the gear my get it going again

Thanks for the post, I'll try your suggestions to jar it loose. It has stopped before but I played with the switch until it finally started working again.
