Traditionally underbody kits seem to be a ricer things, but i've been thinking that with the right color my black coupe can pull it off (especially with a matching set of gill cathodes) I'm thinking a solid blue LED kit.
(note that the interior will also be decked out with blue cathodes/LEDs in stratgic places
Doesn't sound so appealing. Maybe you should tone it down a bit. Besides, it won't help keep you under the radar screen if you push the speed limit a bit.

Bloomington a few years back we were in a huge parking lot partying and in pulls this C5 with neon under the car. Came in just after sunset. Like it or not it certainly got everyone's attention. So in short, if you are an attention ***** go for it. Not sonthin I would do I but it did look pretty cool
I have considered doing it as well. Be sure to check local laws though because in most states red and blue are illegal for the road. Sooo unless you want to just use the blue in a parking lot id go with something else. Mine is black as well and the interior uses red bulbs, but if I did get underbody id prob switch the whole car over to green or something
i once was working at a dyno day at our local perf shop..i was strapping the vettes down and we had one up in the air getting ready to be strapped, and i looked, im like, holy crap, thats neon lights. the owner was an elder guy in his 40's... thinking to myself, im keeping my mouth shut about that. so we're done and i asked him to come under the car and look...i said, why did you put that on there.. he gave me this dumb look..he had no clue what that was...previous owner installed it. so we found this switch and vioal, all 4 tubes under the car, two more in the side vents and a couple inside all lite up! he was like WTF is that crap!!! LOL... sooo, that last comment i made, "WTF is that crap" basically tells you, vettes are not made to have Neons... but its your car, if you can do it tastefully, by all means, go ahead, but if your an attn *****...dude, pass on it man...
Aj
I wouldn't do it to my Vettes, and especially now that I have an 02 Z, but that is also just my opinion, it is your vehicle and you can do whatever you want to it. I'd spend the money and time needed to install all that on something else for the Vette
In most states the lighting is illegal. It is typically one of those items the police do not directly enforce until they stop you and then the dollars add up with whatever else they can find on your car. Corvettes are not part of the Fast and Furious group. I let my horsepower and driving do all the talking for me, not a set of lights.
I had a friend in high school that had blue lights under his Camaro. At the time, I thought it was pretty cheasy. That was 35 years ago. Some things don't get better with time...
