[Z06] Rare Z06???....

I thought I had one of those rare brown Z06s after I drove her from Cincy to Virginia Beach with rain and snow the whole way. I was kind of disappointed to find out that it was really red.

I like mod red interiors a lot. But, one thing I do find funny is that what was obviously not highly desired is later defined as rare. Often, there are only X number produced because people did not want a certain color combination. It's not like the interior is made from a rare red skinned cow.

My translation:
MY with mod red is rare. I had a 2004. Rare in each year but you could get it every (4) year. So not really worth anything yet, but something to talk about in the parking lot.
I now have a SW mod red which is probably the rarest Z06 (one year 13X made), so now I may get 500 bucks over a similar condition 2001. Of course I would like to think more because I paid more for that combo. I like it a lot.

Speedway white Z06 is pretty rare. The first year they brought them back and only 352 made (215 with black interior and 137 with mod red).
