I have been researching about my newly aqcuired 2003 Z...and while I have found production numbers on the exterior I can't find any info on how rare my exterior/interior match is.
2003 Corvette Z06
Millenium Yellow w/ Black and Red interior....
what the fizzle does coffee have to do with what he asked??? although somewhat funny, still rather green with diamonds on blue bicycles on pink marshmallows.
MY with mod red is somewhat-rare... But that's only because more folks than not didn't like the combo.
Me, I liked the look of the mod red with yellow, but didn't think it would "wear" well on me over time. I think it DOES add some spice to the interior.
I'd say your combo is "uncommon," but I don't know that I'd call it "rare" (or that I'd spend too much time thinking that it would bring more money when sold or something)...
The more Rare one's are the Speedway White with Mod Red interior- only 137 ever built out of 352 in White.
I have one if the 137...I have yet to see another one (in person anyway) I get A LOT of compliments on the car at our local events.
I think the Mode Red makes most of the Z's more interesting...I will admit, I have never seen a yellow one with it...I have seen electron blue and I have mixed emotions on that combo...

I don't know how rare MY with mod red interior is but thats what I have also. I think it is a great look. I am not too concerned about rarity at this point though, as we have to wait about 20 years and have 3/4 of the produced cars get crushed before we can start thinking about consigning our "rare MY Mod Red 50th aniversary Z06" to Barrett-Jackson.
I had a 2004 MY/MR. That and $3.41 got me a medium latte at Starbucks.
Now I have a 2001 SW/MR thats rare. I can get a latte for 3.40.
