Average MPG issue

Average MPG issue

Every once in a while my "Average MPG" resets itself.... does anyone else ever see this.. would "low Fuel" warning cause This?

Never had that happen to mine. How old is your battery and is this the only thing that is going wacky?

Mine use to to that, replace the battery, that took care of it for me

Mine does the same thing. I also usually have it set to Inst. MPG, but it resets to odometer (and my other display settings) whenever I leave the car off for more than 45 minutes. The battery is stock on my 99, I'm going to replace mine as see what happens.

I believe it only goes for 1000 miles, then resets. I tried to keep an overall average on our 10k-mile trip last April; that's how I found out.

It is the factor 03 battery.... guess I will replace it.

Also I may have drive over 1000 miles and that may be the cause... will watch it this time and see.
