X pipe combo
Hey peeps,
Just wondering which x pipe would be the best for Kooks Headers with Corsa Exhaust (without having to weld)? Obviously random High-flow cats would be in the mix.

I've got the Corsa Indy's. I had a Corsa x-pipe on it. I loved the sould it produced, including the bit of popping I got on deceleration. When I put Kooks headers and high flow cats put on, ECS welded on a different x-pipe, not sure which one though. I don't get near the popping noise now, but the sound was great before i got the h/c done, and incredible now. You might have to see what is recommended.
Like most members on this forum, you have those who prefer Corsa and those who like Borla or BB or other exhausts.
I am one of those Corsa people and have the indy's on my car as the 4 exhaust tips are centered and cover up the transaxle plate for a clean look, great sound and some popping without interior cabin noise, love them.
I also have the Corsa exhaust Y pipe that cost about $250 from most suppliers, well worth the cost and are bolt ons.
With the headers and freeflow cats, I presume you went to the 3" diameter pipes which will best be done by a muffler shop in the event you need step downs from 3" to a lesser diameter to mate with the Corsa's. Do this on the cat side of the installation, then you have a bolt on Corsa rear which allows for adjustments should the mufflers move backwards against the plastic bumper, been there and done that due to road debris.
