OK, so I was a bit bored due to the rain here today. I noticed that my Hotchkis sway bars were in need of a bit of lube so I pulled the brackets and bushings and then decided to paint the brackets while I had them off and, WTH, I had the time so I cleaned, primed and gave them a couple coats of gloss black paint. I know, I know - I've plenty of items still on the Honey-do list but I just had wood blinds installed all over the house for the wifey so I figured I deserved a morning of play.

Also, I figured I'd post a couple of shots of the latest additons to the garage. (Yes, I was a bit distracted this morning.) Here's the Hoover Vacuum I recently mounted to the wall. It matches the hammer grey color and finish of my cabinets perfectly and works great. It came with a full complement of attachments and the 30 ft. hose reaches every corner of the garage. It's not wet-compatible but I already have a Shop-vac for that.
The oil drain canister for the lift I just got. Took a while to find one I liked that matches the lift color.
So, how far can the trivial-mod bug go? Who knows? Stick around . . .
I have been doing the same type of crap today (C6 Z06 shifter install finally), cleanup, and putting in those front blackouts that have been sitting around forever...
Hey, where did you get the oil drain?? I have been meaning to get one for quite some time...
I have new Z06 sway bars that I had powdercoated and all the brackets chromed, I just don't have them on yet. Man, if I had a lift in my garage, I'd be working on my car and cleaning the underside all the time. That Hoover looks like it really sucks! Your car and garage look great.
