Default NEED HELP <---- ((gas cap))

my gas cap button dosnt work how do i fix this -- is it a fuse if soo which one??? or is there something else i can do too pop my gas cap??? need some info soon as possible.... Thanks

Inside the car.....inside the drivers rear quarter panel is a black plastic clip/tab that will pull to the rear of the car and manually release the door for fuel.

Have you recently had work done where the center console was removed?? Mine wouldn't pop (I was almost out of gas, too), and I found they just didn't snap the connector together properly.

But, as stated above, there's an "emergency release" for times where your switch is bad.

Obviously follow the instruction on pulling the cable to open the cap. But to fix the button - have you checked the fuses?

In the fusebox located under the passenger side footwell - - check the F/TNKDR Minifuse #32 for an open circuit (in other words - is the fuse blown?)

If you know anyone with access to a Service Manual - there is a diagnostic aide listed on page 8-1405 in volume 1 of the manual.

yea that fixed the problem thanks--- also my power outlet next to the gas release also dosnt work do u know what number fuse that might be--- i dont have my owners manual :o

Fuse # 1 (20 Amp) is for the console power outlet.
