Default cigarette ashes on your vette.

Did this ever happen to any other members? One day I drove on the highway and got my vette sprayed with ciagarette ash from some moron flicking his cigarette butt out his window in front of me. This happened twice in one hour! This is happening to me more often nowadays. Why are people such morons??

Same thing happened to me about two weeks ago. I had to pull over and check to make sure the cigarette butt didn't get sucked into anything. It hit right in front of the car as I was passing them on the interstate.

Some folks just don't thing about anyone but themselves. In there mind; if there was damage to you car it would be your fault since you were too close to them.

I'm sure it has happened before - not much you can do but just try and miss it.

Even better when you see it hit your hood... bastards... wish my vette had crash bumpers so i could smash them off the road for that.

Whats really funny is these are the same people that will search for an ash tray/garbage to toss their butts out elsewhere, but its ok to toss it into nature on the side of the highway or someone elses hard earned property.

Sure.

But I can top that. Last weekend a guy who doesn't even qualify as moron dumped the remaining contents of his drive-through soft drink out the driver's window...at 70 mph. Ice cubes and all.

Yes, there was some road rage expressed.

Yup! Made me very angery, I took a deep breathe and let him go. I know somewhere down the road he will get it right back at him. What goes around come around.

I once watched a guy flick half a cigarette out his window and hit my car with it. He was in the midst of parking right next to me and I was walking to my car. I didn't say a word, in fact I slowed down so he wouldn't know it was my car. I didn't want him to feel embarrased because his cigarette slipped out of his hand and hit my car, so when I reached my car, I simply picked up the cigarette and gently placed it on his front seat so he could finish smoking it when he got back. Yikes! I've also enjoyed dodging them on my motorcycle. Some folks are just oblivious.

OMG - ashes from a cigarette...oh the horrors! Relax and enjoy your car, and as much as I love my car it's still just a car. I don't think I've ever read that anyone's paint was ruined by being hit by a glowing cigarette.

Should use cell phones and take picture to report them for littering. After a $300 to $1000 fine maybe they'll use the ash tray in their car instead of dumping their trash on the streets.

Not too long after I bought my car, some redneck in a Dodge truck must've been upset that I passed him out and after picking up my daughter at school, I found what was a lit cigarette on my car. Luckily, it had landed on the window.

Another guy threw an empty cigarette lighter at me (missed) while I was sitting on an exit ramp.

thats when you unlatch your roof let it fly off grab your Assault rifle from behind the seat. You stand up in the car going 80mph and open fire into their car blowing out their back window and killing their two rear tires. That will teach em

Seriously tho, that person is a moron.
