Does the 2000 Vette support passive mode?

Does the 2000 Vette support passive mode?

I've been trying to find a definate answer but can't seem to. I have a 2000 Vette with a remote that does not have a passive mode switch on it. Is there a key fob that will allow me to use the passive mode? The menus in the car do have the passive mode options, but from what I've read in other posts the 2000 model was a special case and the key fobs with the passive mode switch for earlier models will not use the passive mode on the 2000. Does a key fob for 2000 models exist that uses the passive mode?

I have it on mine and it works well although I don't really use it.
I believe that 99 was the last year for this, but I'm not to sure.

Bringing this thread back to life. I've got a 2000 and was going to try and get a fob with passive entry....... I assume I can't do this?????
