The ad was a 7 day listing on Ebay, it was pulled after 1 day. The email address on Ebay was where I sent a inquiree to. I received a email back from a different email address. They never responded, as I attached this Ebay warning in my email........

Also, 2 years ago, my Paypal account was used over Christmas Eve to purchase over $25,000.00 in T-Mobile phones thur the internet. They then are sold on the street, and when the buyer tries to attivate them, them can't be used. Chase called me Christmas day, and informed me of the charges, and released me of the charges. I even had a phone card number stolen, inwhich they sold time to some outfit in China on. You got to be careful, these dudes are good and are always preying on us.

 

Yeah, I saw that ad along with a black 06 Z51 with the same response.
What a SCAM.

 

Scam, Scam, Scam... Don't bother with those so called 'deals'

 

I see these all the time for Classic Muscle cars. Always in Europe.

I email them from my hotmail email address and tell them I just happen to be in the Same location as the vehicle on vacation. I tell them I'll meet them, inspect the car, pay cash, take possession of the vehicle and arrange my own shipping.

For some reason I never get a reply. Maybe it was something I said?

 

I work for an internet company, and we see similar scams all the time. We even have a Site Integrity Team whose purpose is to track down scammers. I came accross one of those a long time ago and yanked the seller's chain for a bit. He claimed the Vette was garaged in his previous house which he had sold, but since the owners were young, he made a deal so that he kept the car in the locked garage, which he had keys for.
