HOMELINKMOD

I would test to make sure the polarity is correct before stitching it up.

That's the one I used on mine. Very easy and a great mod. I hated hanging the garage remote from the visor.

I also used the first example, but had to reverse the polarity from what is shown. Have fun with this one.

I just jambed the button, mounted in the battery box area and wired it to my hi beams. Now I just flash my hi beams when I get home and the door opens.

I don't have the pic of the head light connection but I just spliced in the + and - to the harnes at the light.

I just pulled the whole module our of a doner visor from ebay for $15. I've had it in for a year now with no problems.

I attached it whit velcro

Link if picture dissappears.

interesting, but how do you get the head light to worked the remote, and what would you do if you have to run a gate remote also.
thanks

I hooked the leads to the high beam so I just flash the high beams, that activates the homelink. Remember I have to jamb one of the buttons down, so I flash - the door opens. If I come home with high beams on (very rare) I have to turn them off then on again.

It's slick as snot for what I need. Nothing extra inside the car.

I like the visor too but it was too much work for me to do and if I bought a completed visor too much $$$$. This was cheap AND easy.

I'm pretty sure you can not use my method for controlling two devices.
