Default Engine caps ????

I bought some new billet engine caps for my c5. When I received the package it says (Corvette 1996-2002). I have a 2004. The caps for the winshield wiper fluid and brake master cylinder don't fit. Are the caps different sizes betwwen an 02 and 04? The coolant tank and power steering cap are a little too big, but they could be double sided taped. The oil and brake fluid fit perfectly. So 2 out of the 6 fit how they should. Any ideas??

I looked at a set on E bay that said it would fit 1996-2002 corvette to. so I did a little checking up on them and was told not to buy them that the fit like ****. Is this where you got them. They look realy nice but if they don't work thats no good I went with CEC. I thought the caps where all the same on all C5

I almost purchased the same caps from a company who advertised them for the 1996-2002 Corvette. When I questioned them (I sent them an e-mail and spoke to a sales rep on the phone) about the LS1 motor being in the 1997-2002 Corvette and not in the 1996, they said they "thought" they'd fit. What troubles me is they're selling a product for a specific vehicle, but they're not quite sure if the caps will fit.

Yes, I did buy it from that other site. We'll see how returning it goes.

Keep us posted. When I asked the sales rep if I could return them if they didn't fit, he said it wouldn't be a problem. I'm glad I held off on ordering them.

The caps do say for 1996-2002. Maybe 2003 and 2004 models have different caps? Just a thought

I found out the caps were originally made for the C6. An outside vendor figured it would fit the C5 too. Obviously the vendor was wrong. I will be going by the manufacturer's facilities for fitment next week. The might use my car as a mock up for proper fitment or it will end up just not working out and I'll have to look elsewhere. It sounded like they want to fix the problem. Keep you guys posted!
