Default I pulled the trigger on the next mod

I ordered a new Corsa Touring catback system and their X-pipe today. It should be here in a week. Tom at Wong's Performance Engineering is going to install it and then he will do a complete, loaded dyno tune to get her dialed-in. I can hardly wait to drive it after that.
My 03, A4 coupe is stock with the exception of the VaraRam B2. The car has never been dyno'ed before. Any guesses on what my hp/trq will be when it is complete? I'll post the results when complete.

5 - 15 HP most likely 5HP at the wheels.

Air intake will help the most while the exhaust is all about sound.

Not sure why you want to dyno a car with just intake and exhaust, IMO a waste of your cash. Save it for a 2nd mod like a cam

It must be exhaust mod week for EB vettes! I ordered my Corsa Pace Car, Bassani X-pipe the other day. Bassani's here, Corsa due on Tuesday. I also ordered a Callaway Honker and ported throttle body from Mark Shaner (both due next week).

I agree with your point but I have been having what I believe is some fairly poor gas milaege ~16 MPG AVG. The second reason that I am doing the tune is I don't plan on doing any other mods (heads/cam) in the distant future that will affect breathing. So I want this to run the fastest and most efficient that it can.

I'm not sure Corsa touring should count as a "mod". The whole 2 HP you gain is lost with the added weight. And the sound is only a notch above stock.
If you're crazy enough to pay for a tune after adding a weak exhaust, maybe you could send some of your money my way. I promise I'll put it to better use.

I don't consider Corsa Touring a weak exhaust system. It is just the sound I am looking for. I don't want an annoying, loud azz exhaust that will just pi$$ off my neighbors and impress twenty year olds.

The beauty of it being my money, I can do with it as "I" choose

As long as you don't plan on further mods, I think a dyno tune is a great idea. Especially since you're having mileage issues. Post your results.

As you stated it's your money and without further mod's and a solid tune you will be a happy camper(driver)
