Did you really expect the kid behind the counter making $7/hour to know about a Vette? Don't you remember yourself at 17? This is like complaining about the McDonald's drive thru kid not understanding that you are lactose intolerant.

My parts guy at my local Advanced is owns 2 C3's and a C5.. He is also a really good friend. I tend not to have this problem..

Well, see, there you go. You could just upgrade to an LS-6 wiper motor and not have to "mod" the stock LS-1 wiper motor.

I found that these guys have to ask because either they didn't ask once and got bit, or their boss train them to ask all the questions ecause someone else didn't ask and got bit. It's car sellsmen that I get frustrated with. I went to Jeep with intentions of coming out with a new Cherokee. But I walked out when the salesman insisted that I didn't know what I was talking about because Jeep never never put a V6 in a Cherokee. I had just sold my 84 (with a V6), otherwise I would have run over him with it and showed him from underneath. As it was, I went to Ford nxt door and bought a convertbile mustang. And now I'm replacing that with a Vett.
