I just recieved a lovely 01 silver 6spd coupe for my Birthday. When I step on the gas the car pulls left, I put the clutch in it falls to the right. What do you think anything wrong? I think maybe tie rods? I have 52000 miles on my car. Am I crazy?
Sounds like something loose or worn in the rear suspension/drive train. When torque applied rear shifts fore or aft creating a change of direction.Very possibly rear tie rods or control arms.I would jack up the rear and try to move the wheel in and out horizontaly. The smallest of movement can cause the car to change direction.
I agree an alignment shop familiar with corvettes should be capable of correcting this.
Just my 2!

Had the exact same problem with a VW Passat once. Ended up being the control arm bushings were bad. I realize it's a whole different suspension, but I'd look for bad mounts and bushings.
Thanks the chevy dealer said the tie rod ends are probably bad. I am glad that I paid for the inspection. I also had a 30 day warranty from the dealer so I will have them fix it.
The traction control is on and the car will pull to left under normal acceleration. Standing start under acceleration will pull left. cruising and passing someone it pulls left. So, the dealer will put it on the alignment machine today. Thanks everyone.
