I just got done installing mine...it looks great but the screws were the wrong pitch (same diameter as the stock ones just wrong pitch). I had to touch the nutplate with a drill bit so the new hardware would install. No big deal. I'd send out the correct hardware in the future though for the less mechanically inclined people. The correct pitch is slightly more fine threaded then what's included in the kit.

I ordered mine when I first read the thread a few weeks ago. The mask arrived within days!!!
Had some problems with the screws/snaps and Jim was excellent about checking with the manufacturer in regards to a solution. They recommended that I back out the screws a bit until they align with the clips and it solved the problem.
In the past I would have to spend about 30-60 minutes cleaning off the bugs after taking the car for a spin out on some country roads.
This past weekend drove around for about 5 hours. When I got home I was able to take the mask off in about 20 seconds, and all I had to clean up was the windshield!!!
Good investment IMO.

I also had hardware issues, albiet different ones. To ensure that I dont have problems like you did, I simply installed a thick washer under each new peice of hardware.
