AVON Tires???

Who makes these?

Was looking on the TireRack site, and they came up with outstanding performance, wear, etc., for a fraction of the cost.

Something doesn't ring true......

I would get Kumho MX tires well before Avon.

I have them on my fronts...pretty decent tire for the price!

Avon's have been OEM on Rolls Royces for years and years. I don't think they skimp on anything on Rolls.

Excellent tire.

I've used them on my Harley since '96; in fact just bought one to replace my front tire Friday.

Excellent wear.

Don't have a clue about using them on a Corvette.

Thanks for the info.

I looked them up:

- owned by Cooper tires
- been in business since 1885
- specialized in performance tires
- OEM on RR, Bentley, etc.

I am going to take a closer look.....
