Default help me, please!

guys i need some help. ive got a 01 zo6 and want some more power. the suspension is moded and the intake is done and its been dyno tuned. next im thinking a cam and port the stock heads. (it seams like the most bang for the buck) i need a cam that will wake the car up but not **** the wife off when she drives it to work. im going to be auto crossing it and a little road course. im thinking comp cams 224/224 .566/.568 112 lsa??? is this a good street set up? will the wife like it? will it idle good? any ideas of what kind of power i could make with a set up like this? right now im putting 353hp 360torque to the rear wheels. Help me!!!

I would go with a mild cam for good street manners, LT headers, X-pipe and a dyno tune should put you about 415ish rwhp and would still be good on the road course and still be good enough to drive on the street!

change the LSA to 114 on the cam...it will then idle in a more wife aproving manner.

I went with the Comp Cam 220/224 .581 114LSA; it runs great, idles at 825rpm (never stalls) with a tolerable lope and will pass the smog sniffer. A 112LSA will actually give you a lopier idle. I would put LT headers on for sure, even before a new cam or heads work. And don't forget the springs with any new cam.

I got 409rwhp and 388rwtq with the above cam and AR headers.

It will feel like a totally different car once you get it up over 400rwhp. Have fun modding,
