Who would've thought that getting runflats would be so hard.
I can only find one manufacturer that makes the RFs in the sizes I want.
Does anybody have experience with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A RFTs

What sizes are you looking for? There are several manufacturers that market rf's in stock sizes. I have the Firestone Firehawks and am extremely pleased w/them. The Firehawks are made in Japan and I'm sure at a Bridgestone factory. I have been very pleased w/Bridgestone's non-rf's on our Acura TL. Others on this forum have the Michelin rf's and are pleased, also.

275/40/18 rears
It seems from my searches that only Bridgestone Potenza comes in these sizes.
I wanted Michelin ZP but no luck in these sizes
Maybe I'll just get Pilot sports and a road worthy repair kit. oh yeh and AAA too.

about the Firestones. I have a set in the stock sizes and they have been excellent tires. Not sure if they make the fronts in a 40 series though.

I have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S ZP 275/40/18s on the rear so they definitely make that size
Not sure about the non standard 18" size for the front though. Mine are 245/45/17s.
