I had the HOME DEPOT mod and went with the actual hood seal from MID-AMERICA to give it a cleaner look.

Actually the stuff most of us are talking about looks exactly like the molding that vendors sell. In fact once you put it on it would be extremely difficult to determine which was which. One side is flat and the other side is rolled for that perfect fit. We are not talking about the flat kind that you put on your doors.

So I bought mine from GM! It looks better (perfect match to side fender seals). Complex scientific wind tunnel tests have shown it actually adds a little more HP than the non-GM aftermarket stuff.
