If you give $.10 or $15.00 it's worth it. Helps to keep the engine compartment cleaner IMO.

I got mine from MidAmerica years ago...I think they're all the same so I'd suggest ordering 1 when you order other items to save on shipping. If you're somewhat handy I'd go the Lowe's/Home Depot route. It's not high-tech.

As others have said, Home Depot. There is enough in a bag of the stuff to do 2 cars. I bought it and and used the leftovers to completely do my buddy's car and still have leftover stuff.

A hardware store - just buy some auto weatherstrip and make your own.

I got mine from Corvette Central. You can get them from (Ecklers), (MidAmerica) (Home Depot) (Ebay) & plenty of other places I'm sure. You will gain at least 50 Hp from this sick mod + your engine will stay free of dust/dirt. :Joking: lol they claim a few Hp but I wouldn't get my hopes up. It does help with the dust though. They say It foces more air Into the Intake... Yeah I don't know or see how that would work. But for the $ It's a wise choice.

Home Depot, Lowes .. any home improvement store is the cheapest, or car parts place is the next cheapest.

My Home Depot hood seal gave me at least 8 more horsepower and has kept the engine bay a little cleaner.

The one from West Coast Corvettes is molded in a curve to follow the the curve of the front of the hood to eliminate the possibility of any wrinkling or kinking of the weatherstrip or self adhesive strip. Just a point of detail in case anyone cares. Not sure if the other presized ones from the other vendors are. The Home Depot / hardware store versions obviously won't have a molded curve. Guess it depends on how much you care about attention to detail verses saving a few bucks. Both will work fine at keeping the engine compartment cleaner.

Actually the stuff most of us are talking about looks exactly like the molding that vendors sell. In fact once you put it on it would be extremely difficult to determine which was which. One side is flat and the other side is rolled for that perfect fit. We are not talking about the flat kind that you put on your doors.
