Default Icy Ditch Save

I got myself in a pickle last week. 2 inch ice and I tangled. While tryig to turn around, I was sitting still and it started sliding . Stopped right on the edge of a ditch and missed the tree. Here's a pic!

After about 2 hours of salting and digging, I was able to slide it hard to the right and pull out slowly. The picture doesn't do it justice. The drop off goes down about 3 feet by the driver's door.

Yes, it stayed in the garage for a few days after that. It's all good now. 6 inches fell ehre last night though. I got it all removed from the driveway and my daily driver vette will hit the snowy streets again tommorow.

My truck is my daily driver, but I don't even drive it, when the temp is
below 32, and roads are icy. I missed 2.5 days of work this season so
far. I have had snow and ice issues in my younger days, and to me it's not worth it. Esp. the way people drive like either NASCAR ,or way too
slow.

The picture itself looks pretty cool!

Congrats on the lucky save! I had a similar situation (not in my Vette) many years ago. It makes you feel like somebody is watching out for you .

That is why I kept my pickup, so I have a choice.
