I got myself in a pickle last week. 2 inch ice and I tangled. While tryig to turn around, I was sitting still and it started sliding . Stopped right on the edge of a ditch and missed the tree. Here's a pic!
After about 2 hours of salting and digging, I was able to slide it hard to the right and pull out slowly. The picture doesn't do it justice. The drop off goes down about 3 feet by the driver's door.
Yes, it stayed in the garage for a few days after that. It's all good now. 6 inches fell ehre last night though. I got it all removed from the driveway and my daily driver vette will hit the snowy streets again tommorow.

My truck is my daily driver, but I don't even drive it, when the temp is
below 32, and roads are icy. I missed 2.5 days of work this season so
far. I have had snow and ice issues in my younger days, and to me it's not worth it. Esp. the way people drive like either NASCAR ,or way too
slow.
