I've posted a couple of threads on this issue and it seems like my next step to troubleshooting my headlight issue is to replace the Headlight switch on the column.
***Headlights don't come on with headlight column switch***
Blinkers work...cruise works...
Anyone have any instructions on how to do this??
Similar problem, but headlights come on and no dash or tail lights or parking lights. Fix is supposed to be the headlight switch. Anyway here's a thread for changing switch. You might check Tech for more on your problem. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1274548
Scroll down to bottom two posts i think.
I found a switch listed on Auto Zone web sight for $99. Haven't checked it out yet but that's as cheap as i've head of.
Mine would stay up and on after shutting off the switch. I would turn them off and go inside and come out and my lights would be popped up and on. The rest of the lights weren't on. Replaced turn signal "stalk" and everything was good as new. I think it was $150 at local parts store. I had some discussions a few months ago with others about it. Try searching "stalk" it is all one piece that connects under the dash.
If you do replace the switch, you might have a hard time getting one of the torx screws out of the switch. Turn the steering wheel 90° to the left and that should get you enough clearance to get that torx out of there. The service manual actually says to need to REMOVE the steering wheel to change the switch but I found that turning the wheel 90° makes it so you dont have to...just a little tip

I agree. Don't take off the steering wheel. The other member and I discussed that. Also I used one of the screws as a female torqx to remove the one male style torqx.
