What's the problem you're having? I just had my '02 smoged no problem at one of the local smog certified inspection stations. The technician just looked under the car to check and see that the catalytic converters had not been removed. He then put the probe in the exhaust tail pipe and reved the engine up to speed. It passed with flying colors and the certificate was electronically sent to the DMV in Sacramento. He charge $50 and I was on my way.

I hope I'm as lucky. I have long tube headers w/cats Xpipe. But I may have trouble with the hurricane cold air intake. I also have a Mag Charger ect. All these usually means trouble

Did you get popped by a cop? You shouldn't have to smog your car until 2009.

If he moved in from out-of-state, his car must be smogged, I believe.

No, I'm selling her to a good friend and we need to get it smoged. The check engine light will not stay off. I have my machanic trying to figure it out. But he's having a hard time. Thanks
