I take offense to that! Love it or not. You're connected to f-bodys. Corvettes always will be. The technology from corvettes. trickles down to the f-body every generation. I've owned three f-bodys now and loved every single one. Corvettes and f-bodys have their pros and cons.

As of December 2006, LSX is the new iron Gen IV small block from GM, capable of more than 454 cubic inches in identical packaging as the LS1/LS2/LS6

Prior to December, LSx denoted the Generation III & Generation IV Chevy small block - the LS1, LS2, LS6, LS7, LQ9 etc.

I've owned 5 F-Bodies prior to the Vette, and loved every one of them.

Sorry, the "F" body has never been my cup of tea, but I believe the last generation was probably the best, especially the last model years as they tightened up the body of squeeks/rattles. I would never own one, due to the MORONIC things one must do to change plugs/wires on one. Spark plugs and wires shouldn't take 6-8hrs to change. I spent 7 years as a GM service tech ASEP instructor.........h'mmmm maybe I know too much!

6-8 hrs!! I could change all 8 plugs in under 1hr! I'm not a mechanic and figured out how to cut the time down after the first time......with the help of the guys and gals at LS1tech.

I really wish I still owned that car!!
