Does anyone with dark colored wheels have matching colored lug nuts? I will be getting a set of hyper silver wheels soon and all I have are the chrome lugs.
What kind of lugs do you guys with dark wheels use?
Are they color matched or contrasting?
Does anyone have a source if dark lugs are available?
Thanks in advance.
p.s. Closeup pics of dark wheels and lugs would be appreciated.
Can anyone tell me what the thread pitch of our lug studs requires? Will these nuts work with ours?
This is the product discription:
The Muteki Wheel Lugs are shaped in a heptagonal pattern making each a seven sided lug nut. Muteki nuts look like an ordinary lug nut from a distance, but the only way that you can remove the Muteki lugs is with the special socket ONLY provided with the set. You'll get added security for your rims. The Muteki lugs also weigh 50% less than stock lug nuts (0.9 oz. vs. 2.1 oz.) On a car with 4 Muteki lugs per wheel, this can save you more than a pound! These Muteki lug nuts are open ended to comply with most race sanctioning bodies and can be used for everyday driving.
Comes complete with wrench socket and 20 lug nuts for 4 or 5 lug bolt patterns.
Note: M12 x 1.5mm application: Fits Honda, Acura, Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi etc.
These are what most people use, you want the "Acorn Bulge" design. I'm still using chromies with my black wheels but eventualy I'll get off my A$$ and pick up some of these Gorillas in black.
Hope this helps?

thank you. so do you think the lugs i posted above would work? they seem to be the same m12x1.5 or is the style incorrect?
also, does anyone know where to purchase the gorillas? they don't seem to be for sale over their website.
I don't see why they wouldn't work...but unless you found something I didn't, those, like most lug nuts come in either black or chrome. If you're just looking for black ones, they aren't tough to find, probably find them at Autozone or local parts store.
